The BSc (Hons) Nursing is a full time professional nursing programme, delivered over a minimum of four and a maximum of six academic years. The programme commences in September with two semesters each year and incorporates 39 education modules of theory and clinical practice. The delivery model includes lectures, group work, tutorials, practical, clinical placements, revision work, personal readings, library work, self-directed learning, examination and assessment.
During the programme the students must gain experience with nursing care of children, adults and the elderly, and also spend time in Health Centres and community care, psychiatric care and specialist hospital care.
